MOBILE - Do calculators count at mobile devices? The old TI's I mean where you could code and exchange simple games. Turns out as I was thinking about it, I actually played on an Atari prior to that, at a parents' friends house. I remember everything about the process of getting the NES (seeing it in the back of my parents' car one day after school, setting it up on our 16 inch RCA TV, and being mesmerized by controlling Mario through what, at that time, was a very difficult game for me). The two songs for that game remain one of the best musical assortments the world has ever known.ĬONSOLE - I was about to confidently write down Super Mario Brothers. Honestly, the only thing I specifically remember is controlling some guy with a sword and we (my next door neighbor) couldn't get past some snake hidden behind the bushes. Vaguely King's Quest-like, but as opposed to point-and-click, I vaguely remember you directly controlled the player's movement and actions.

First game I played on a phone was probably the snake like game where you go around the screen eating things and your tail gets longer as you do.ĬOMPUTER - I remember the game, but no way I can recall the title. My dad got a Game Boy and he had Tetris with it.

Mobile - Do portable devices count in this or just phone like devices? As Tetris was my first game played on a small portable like device. After I had been introduced to this I had told my parents how I wanted a similar thing and I ended up getting a Sega Master System eventually from my grandparents at Christmas and on that was Alex Kidd in Miracle World, so Alex Kidd was the first console game I had at my house. It was probably some sort of fishing game, though I also have some memory of shooting against my friend as cowboys of sorts. I went to a friends place and I wasn't really aware of video game consoles until I saw this. Think it was played with only 2 colours being green and black too.Ĭonsole - It was on the Atari 2600 I believe. I feel that the game I gave most of my attention to on a computer was Karateka though. Probably wasted heaps of dollars on that.Ĭomputer - I'm not entirely sure. This is tricky in some aspects as I don't know the actual names of the games but I'll try to describe them somewhat anyway.Īrcade - First game in the arcade I believe was the Ninja Turtles arcade game.
